Whereas the Trudeau Liberal’s costly carbon tax is devastating the operations of Canadian farmers, producers, and ranchers.
Whereas a record number of Canadians relying on food banks as high grocery costs forcing 2 million Canadians to food banks every month.
Whereas the Senate’s amendments to Bill C-234 will cut carbon tax relief to farmers by $910 million, according to PBO estimates.
Therefore, be it resolved that we call on all Members of Parliament to pass Bill C-234 in its original form to ensure Canadian farmers and producers are able to grow local and affordable food for Canadians.
