Beware: CRA Phishing Scam

Some residents of Macleod have been receiving an email that appears to have been sent by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) asking you to click on a link in order to receive your tax refund.
This is a fraudulent email. Please note that the CRA will never ask you to click on a link to get your income tax refund. Clicking on such a link could install malware on your computer.

If you receive such an email, please delete it! Do not respond to it, do not click on any links, do not open any attachments, do not forward it, and do not disclose any personal information to the sender.
