High River Tipping Fee Waiver Program for Flood Debris ends June 22

Effective Monday, June 22, 2015, tipping fees for flood related waste and debris will no longer be waived at the Foothills Regional Landfill. This is part of the Town of High River’s process of returning to normal and sustainable levels of service.

All hauling under currently issued flood waste permits must be completed before June 22 to have the tipping fees waived. Flood related waste and debris can continue to be taken to the Foothills Regional Landfill, but will be subject to its standard fees.

The Town of High River, through the Government of Alberta’s Disaster Recovery Program, has been waiving tipping fees for flood waste and debris since the June 2013 flood.
